Fox & Dyck
Jana Fox and Oleg Dyck are artists currently working independently and individually in Cologne, Germany. They both value the perfection of their paintings, placing a huge importance on the material value of the artwork. Some of their equestrian paintings have a lovely impressionist feel to them.
Fox studied the restoration of paintings at the Art College V.A, Serov in St Petersburg and Art Studies at the Estonian Art Academy in Tallinn. Her paintings are influenced by the experience she gained when reproducing the work of old masters from the ErEremitage as well as the Russian Museum.
Dyck completed his studies at the Art Academy in Tallinn, but invested most of his time doing en plein air painting during his time at the Art College, S.A Chuikov in Frunse.
As a sought after portrait painter and the author of large format wall murals, Oleg Dyck uses the intensive colours of Central Asia in his works.
