Peter studied 3D Design at the University of Salford. After graduation, he worked briefly for a company designing the interiors of pubs, clubs and hotels until setting up in business with a friend. Their business involved producing artist’s impressions for architects and interior designers. While now a professional artist, this still forms part of the business today.

 

Peter has developed his own painting style and has been selling his work very successfully over the last few years.  He paints mostly in acrylics. His subjects range from Landscapes, Seascapes, Cityscapes & also figurative paintings of Cockle Pickers & Fishermen in Morecambe Bay.  All are vibrant, & full of texture, as well as being expressive.  Peter enjoys interpreting the interplay of light in his work.

 

Peter now teaches both privately & for Cumbria Adult Education Service at a number of venues.
